Last Minute Halloween Costume
It’s Halloween weekend and I got into the spirit after all. Why pass up an opportunity to get creative and dress up? It’s exactly why at the last minute I headed over to Ricky’s and scanned the aisles to see what was left over. You can’t ever go wrong as a witch.. but they were out of witch hats. They had some fake blood, vampire stuff and a ton of super hero stuff, wigs and a bunch of accessories.. So, I decided on a Vampire and Cleopatra look. Two looks because I couldn’t decide and well.. I’ll be celebrating Halloween all weekend.
To create this Vampire look I used makeup I had already. The only makeup I purchased to complete the look was the vampire blood.
I did my face with Jouer’s tinted moisturizer in nude. I then highlighted my face using Anastasia Beverly Hills Cream Contour Palette. I also contoured with the Matte Eye’s shadow in the color – Pebbles. Since the color is a deep grey that looked great as a contour for this look.
For the eyes I used the Matte Eyes and the Chocolate Bar Palettes from Too Faced Cosmetics. I did the Wing with L’Oreal Intense Liner in Black and applied some dramatic lashes – the Noir Fairy BLK from House of Lashes. On the lips I went with Pat McGrath Lust 004 Lip Kit in Blood – using a mix of blood 1 and 2 along with the liquid lip gel and glitter it came with. And of course a blood drip on the side of the mouth to finish.
On the nails I went with OPI Satin Finish in 4 in the Morning and this claw bracelet thing I couldn’t pass up.
There you have it, last minute but prepared.
